Do not wash or dry clean oil finish waxed garments -- brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.Maintains maximum water repellency in oil finish garments.
Reproof your oil finish garments as often as needed with our paraffin-based wax. Simply apply an even layer of wax over your oil finish garment then use a heat gun or blow dryer to warm the wax so it absorbs into the cloth.
