Shipping
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. If you do not receive this email, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-800-624-0201.
We offer free economy shipping on U.S. orders over $99. No discount code is required. Free shipping does not apply to international orders.
Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Economy shipping takes approximately 4–8 business days after shipment. Expedited options are available at checkout.
Yes, we ship to select international destinations. Duties and taxes are not included at checkout and are collected by the carrier upon delivery.
Returns & Exchanges
All items, unless marked Final Sale, may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Final Sale, hemmed, or altered items are not eligible for return.

- Refund to original payment method: An $8 return fee will be deducted
- In-store returns: Free at any Filson retail location

If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please start a return at returns.filson.com. We will resolve the issue at no cost to you.
Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 7–12 business days. Your financial institution may take additional time to post the refund.
Product Care
Apply Filson oil finish wax evenly across the fabric. Use heat (such as a hairdryer) to help the wax absorb. Allow the item to dry overnight before use.
Most garments can be machine washed unless otherwise noted. Waxed canvas, wool, and rugged twill should not be machine washed. Always follow the care label on your product.
Yes. Materials like Tin Cloth, Rugged Twill, and leather are designed to develop a natural patina over time, reflecting how the product is used.
Spot clean when possible. For deeper cleaning, dry clean only to maintain shape and integrity.

Warranty
We guarantee our products against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.

Fading, fabric wear, and general aging from use are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under warranty.
Most repairs are completed within 4–6 weeks, depending on the item and repair type.
If a defect cannot be repaired, we may offer a replacement or alternative solution at our discretion.
Sizing & Fit
Filson garments are designed with a classic, functional fit. Many styles run slightly large to allow for layering. Refer to product pages for specific guidance.
Size charts are available on each product page under the "Sizing & Fit" section.
If you prefer a closer fit or are between sizes, we recommend sizing down. For outerwear, consider your layering needs.
Some cotton items may shrink slightly. Follow care instructions and avoid high heat when drying.
