This special-edition bag is made from the Mackinaw Wool that has protected foresters, ranchers and sportsmen in the thick forests of the Pacific Northwest for well over a century. Its durability is unrivalled, often being handed down to the next generation. This exceptional wool is laminated to strong canvas to create a single heavy-duty fabric with wool on the exterior and cotton on the interior. The Bridle Leather straps and Weatherproof Leather bottom panel are vegetable-tanned by Pennsylvania's Wickett & Craig, tanning experts since 1865. During tanning, premium cowhides are slowly steeped in bark-tannin solutions for weeks, transforming them into durable, lustrous leather that lasts a lifetime. The handles wrap around the circumference of the bag to cradle heavy loads. The interior features pockets on each end cap to keep smaller items organized.
