This special-edition bag is made from the Mackinaw Wool that has protected foresters, ranchers and sportsmen in the Pacific Northwest for well over a century. Its durability is unrivalled, often being handed down to the next generation. This exceptional wool is lined with strong cotton canvas for structure and added gear protection. The Bridle Leather straps and Weatherproof Leather bottom panel are vegetable-tanned by Pennsylvania's Wickett & Craig, tanning experts since 1865. During tanning, premium cowhides are slowly steeped in bark-tannin solutions for weeks, transforming them into durable, lustrous leather that lasts a lifetime. The handles wrap around the circumference of the bag to cradle heavy loads. The interior features pockets on each end cap to keep smaller items organized.
