Our Hooded Double Mackinaw Cruiser is a tried-and-true Filson jacket with a wild origin story. Decades ago, one inventive customer fashioned himself a Mackinaw Wool hood for his Cruiser and finished it with coyote fur from a hunt. As a nod to the rugged ingenuity of our customers, we've produced a limited quantity of our historic Double Mackinaw Cruiser equipped with a removable hood and detachable faux-fur ruff for a peerless cold-weather jacket. Two warm layers of Mackinaw Wool insulate the shoulders arms, and most of the torso. Dry finish Cover Cloth sleeve and pocket linings for added comfort and wind resistance. Classic Cruiser-pocket arrangement, with four on the front and a full-width back packet for maps or charts. Button-closure front and cuffs.
