The Filson X GiantMouse Jagt Knife is a midsized folder made in Italy for field utility, work tasks, and daily carry. Jagt is Danish for "hunting," and the knife earns the name with a blade shape built for controlled cutting in the field.
The 3.27-inch blade is made with Swiss Elmax steel, chosen for its versatile balance of corrosion resistance, edge retention, toughness, and ease of sharpening. Its subtle upsweep leads to a drop-point tip, a design that combines tip strength, a deep belly for slicing, and close control for precision.
A flipper and thumbhole allow ambidextrous opening with either forefinger or thumb. The liner lock provides solid security when the blade is open. Forward-set jimping adds control for precise tasks such as skinning game.
The Micarta handle is lightweight, durable, and highly resistant to wear and chemical damage. A reversible deep-carry clip allows left- or right-pocket carry, while the lanyard tab extends from the butt for added security in the field.
Filson and GiantMouse cobranding on opposite sides of the blade completes this purpose-built folding knife.
