SMALL BATCH CRAFTMANSHIP
The Filson Workshop is located inside our Seattle Flagship retail store. Here, a few highly skilled craftsmen create entirely new designs on a very small scale using unique fabrics and leathers. These limited and collectible releases are painstakingly crafted, each one rare and unique–it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever see another like it.
WORKSHOP COMPACT TOOL BAG - SOLD OUT
In the Filson Workshop we build limited-run products using decommissioned, short-run, and deadstock materials. This lot of 50 tool bags was handmade by Jon and Will using thick waxed canvas. Based on gear pouches carried by WWII troops and fully lined with our dry finish Tin Cloth. Each bag is individually numbered.
WORKSHOP WAXED
CANVAS BACKPACK - SOLD OUT
In the Filson Workshop we build limited-run products using decommissioned, short-run, and deadstock materials. Our latest release is 50 backpacks built with fabric from the historic manufacturer Halley Stevensons, specialists in waxed cottons since 1864. Finished in their Baltic Works factory in Dundee, Scotland, this unique fabric has a dry hand feel, yet provides outstanding water resistance. With Rugged Twill reinforcements at the back and bottom, Dry Tin Cloth interior lining, and custom Filson hardware. Handmade and individually numbered with hand-screened manufacturing date by craftsmen Jon and Will.
WORKSHOP UTILITY TOTE - SOLD OUT
Our limited run of 50 tote bags is handmade by Jon and Will using deadstock material from Cone Denim’s historic White Oak mill. Heavy organic cotton lines the interior for added strength. Thick 2” cotton webbing handles wrap under the bag and the bottom is reinforced with a double layer of the USA-made denim. Stow pockets on each side keep essentials at hand. Each tote is individually numbered.
WORKSHOP DUFFLE BAG - SOLD OUT
Our limited run of 50 duffles is handmade by Jon and Will using deadstock material from Cone Denim’s historic White Oak mill. Heavy organic cotton lines the interior for added strength. Thick cotton webbing handles wrap under the bag to support heavy loads. On one end is a stow pocket and the other a heavy-duty grab handle. Removable interior security pocket. Each duffle is individually numbered.
