This hip-length jacket is patterned after the vintage jackets worn by truckers and tradesmen. The canvas starts out firm and settles in with wear, picking up the lines and character of long days on the job. The cut stays comfortable when you’re reaching, lifting, or climbing in and out of a rig, and the hip length makes pockets and tool belts easy to access. The collar is lined with corduroy, adding a bit of comfort when you turn it up against the wind.
Unlined for versatility, it layers cleanly over a flannel in colder weather or pulls on over a T-shirt when it warms up. Metal-shank buttons secure the front, cuffs, and hem tabs. The pocket layout is straightforward and reliable: slotted for pencils and small tools on the left chest, a button-flap pocket on the right, and reinforced hand pockets built for steady use.
