Father’s Day is a very special day at Filson. For generations we’ve been outfitting fathers, and for many of us here, they were the first ones to show us the wonder of the outdoors. The first ones to teach us how to start a fire or bait a hook. The first ones to introduce us to Filson.

But more than just our first field guide, our fathers were our guides to honor and dignity. They taught us the meaning of “unfailing,” and were there for us in case we did. Each lesson was a gift handed down for the journey we all make on our own. And although we may not have noticed it in the moment, when it’s our time, we find a map, a legend, a compass, and a guiding star.
