This woolen button-up is warm like a coat and cut like a shirt. Built with our renowned Mackinaw Wool sourced from the Pacific Northwest and woven at Pendleton Woolen Mills in Oregon.
Our original Jac-Shirt, introduced a half century ago, has earned a reputation for maximum versatility in the outdoors. This heavy-duty version is built with our warmest wool for maximum protection from cold and wet weather. Mackinaw Wool has proven itself time again for over a century, providing unfailing protection in a wider range of weather conditions than any other fabric. The tight weave turns away wind and provides a level of durability that simply can’t be matched by lesser wools. Mackinaw Wool is naturally water resistant and when it does get wet, continues to insulate due to its unique fiber structure that wicks moisture to the tips of each fiber.
For even more warmth, we’ve lined it with our signature Alaskan Guide flannel–the thick brushed-cotton flannel that’s been a proven favorite of bush pilots and ranchers for a quarter-century. The caped front shoulders give an added layer of protection from rain and snow. Equipped with side-seam handwarmer pockets and dual chest pockets. Side slits at the hem provide ease of motion. Button-front closure and adjustable cuffs.
