Return Policy

We stand behind our products 100 percent.

If you purchase an item from Filson and are unhappy with it for any reason within the first 30 days, you may return your item with a receipt or proof of purchase for a refund or exchange. Items must be returned in salable condition. Non-salable items cannot be returned.


To Return or Exchange a Filson Item:

  1. Download the Return Form & follow the instructions on it.
  2. Please contact customercare@filson.com to request a pre-paid return label* and return authorization number.
  3. Include a copy of the receipt along with the item and completed return form.
  4. Ensure the returned item(s) are adequately protected for shipment.

*Please note that the pre-paid Return Label in your parcel cannot be used for returns from the following countries: Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Switzerland. For returns from these countries, please contact customercare@filson.com.

We do not provide free returns from Iceland, Norway and Switzerland. Return shipments must be at the customer’s own expense and instructions must be requested from customercare@filson.com.

If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased at a Filson dealer, contact the dealer about their return/exchange policy. We cannot refund a Filson item purchased from a third-party dealer or vendor.

This policy applies only to Filson purchases made online at Filson.com and shipped to an address within Europe* and/or returned from an address within Europe*.

* Europe includes the following countries/territories: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.

What is the return policy for sale items?
Returns are accepted on discounted/sale items within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for a refund. To make a return, please ship your item back to Filson using the instructions above. The conditions detailed above apply to all returns.
What if I purchase an item that later reduces price?
We do not offer price adjustments for items that may be reduced/discounted during our sale periods.
What is the cost of return shipping?
Free returns are included on all full-price orders over £80. You must use the return label provided with your original purchase or contact customercare@filson.com to request one. Filson is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced packages/items.

Damaged or Defective Items

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us at customercare@filson.com as soon as possible after receiving the item. Please provide our customer care representative with your order number and item number from your original confirmation email that was sent to you at the time of purchase. We'll make every effort to replace the item promptly.

If you are are returning an item, please use the return label provided with your original purchase or contact customercare@filson.com to request one. Be sure to include the completed return form in your package.

Credit

If you need to return an item, you can expect a refund or credit in the same form of payment originally used to make your purchase. Please note that a credit issued to your credit card may take up to two weeks to be acknowledged by your issuing bank or credit card institution

Wrong Item, Colour, or Size

We apologize if an item you receive is different from what you originally ordered. If you receive an item which does not correspond to what you originally ordered, contact us at customercare@filson.com as soon as possible after receiving the item. Please provide our customer care representative with your order number and item number from your original confirmation email that was sent to you at the time of purchase. We'll make every effort to replace the item promptly.

It's gotten us into hot water on some days, but over a hundred years later we stand by those words. If you purchase an item from Filson and are unhappy with it for any reason within the first 30 days, you may return your item for a refund as stated in our Returns Policy.
How do I return an item to Filson for repair?

What if I receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item?
Please contact Customer Service as soon as possible at customercare@filson.com. Please be sure to enter order number and style number in the email along with full contact information, including a return address, daytime telephone number and/or email address, and we will make every effort to replace your item promptly.
How will I receive my refund?
Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. Please note that a refund issued to your credit or debit card may take up to two weeks to be acknowledged by your financial institution. A Filson order number or proof of purchase is required for refund.
What if I don't have an order number or it was given to me as a gift?
We will exchange an item without an order number or receipt if the product is in unused, saleable condition with all its original product tags and labels still attached to the item, and on condition that the item is not a discontinued or discounted stylem, and the product does not show any wear. The last known retail price may be used as a credit toward a new purchase. In this instance a return must be arranged through our Customer Service team by contacting customercare@filson.com. We do not offer refunds if you are unable to provide an order number or proof of purchase.
