More than Buzzwords
Longevity, Not Landfills
Since our start, Filson has made unfailing goods to last generations. In a market full of disposable products, many are shifting to a more sustainable mindset, and that is good. At Filson, it’s just the way we’ve always done things.

Responsible Sourcing
“My dad worked for the U.S. Forest Service, he purchased a Cruiser Vest in 1972. He used the vest for marking timber and sometimes while fighting fire. 34 years later I still use the vest when hunting and fishing and hiking in the woods.”

Added Value
Countless miles or a rogue barbed-wire fence can exact a toll on gear. Our experts can often repair Filson products, extending their life and keeping them out of landfills.
Another Lifetime of Service
Part of the solution to ever-growing landfills, Filson Unfailing is clothing and bags with many miles left in them. A bit of wear, soiling, fading, or a wavy seam shouldn’t keep a good product out of service.
Global Partners
Filson goods are expertly crafted in factories that are safe, clean, and efficient. Our supply chain and manufacturing partners are carefully vetted and regularly visited to ensure that high standards of human welfare and quality are maintained.
Wool
Filson sources wool from suppliers who treat sheep humanely, without mulesing or other painful processes. Sheep naturally graze and fertilize grasslands, and when our wool eventually requires disposal, carbon is returned to the soil. No other fabric is more sustainable.
