Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. In the Filson Workshop, we built 50 individually numbered tool bags modeled after the gear pouches carried by WWII-era infantrymen. Originally envisioned as a compact bag for motorcycle repair tools, it's just as useful for carrying a hammer and tent stakes, a gun cleaning kit, or a chainsaw sharpener and bar oil.
The Filson Workshop is located inside our Seattle Flagship retail store. Here, a few highly skilled craftsmen create entirely new designs on a very small scale using unique fabrics and leathers. These limited and collectible releases are painstakingly crafted, each one rare and unique—it's highly unlikely you'll ever see another like it.
Built for a lifetime of use, each tool bag is handmade with extra-heavy duty waxed canvas. Our signature dry-finish Tin Cloth lines the inside. The interior features two full-width pockets, one with dividing slots for organization and the other with a snap closure for security. The handles are made from thick, rugged cotton twill. The snap-secure top flap rolls over the top portion of the bag envelope-style for extra security.
