care Do not wash or dry clean -- brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.

Our Lightest Waxed Canvas

Oil finish Cover Cloth provides the same water and wind protection as our Tin and Shelter Cloths, but in a lighter weight for use when punctures and tears are less of a concern. The 8-oz. fabric is saturated with paraffin wax and oil to shed rain and snow and block the wind. It’s ideal for stand-alone use in warmer weather or with an insulating layer on cold days.
