Return Policy

We stand behind our products 100 percent.

If you purchase an item from Filson and are unhappy with it for any reason within the first 30 days, you may return your item with a receipt or proof of purchase for a refund or exchange. Items must be returned in salable condition. Non-salable items cannot be returned.


To Return or Exchange a Filson Item:

  1. Download the Return Form & include the completed Return Form in your shipment. & include the completed Return Form in your shipment.
  2. Ensure the returned item(s) are adequately protected for shipment.
  3. Ship your item(s) using the pre-paid Return Label included in your parcel.*
  4. In the case of an exchange, your billing account will be credited a full refund once the return has been processed and you may place a new order at any time.



*Please note that the pre-paid Return Label in your parcel cannot be used for returns from the following countries: Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, and Spain. For returns from these countries, please contact customercare@filson.com.

If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased at a Filson dealer, contact the dealer about their return/exchange policy. We cannot refund a Filson item purchased from a third-party dealer or vendor.

This policy applies only to Filson purchases made online at Filson.com and shipped to an address within Europe and/or returned from an address within Europe.

What is the return policy for sale items?
Returns are accepted on discount items if received within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for a refund. To make a return, please ship your item back to Filson using the instructions above. For return of sale items, your order may be subject to a €15 charge if the product is not returned in saleable condition, which will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded. Contact Customer Service Department to request a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping your item.
What if I purchase an item that later reduces price?
If Filson reduces the price of any item within seven days of the original purchase, we will honor the lowest price. Proof of purchase is required. Please contact Customer Service Department so that a price adjustment may be issued.
What is the cost of return shipping?
Free returns are included on all full-price orders over €100. If the product is not returned in saleable condition, your order may be subject to a €15 charge deducted from the total amount to be refunded. When shipping, please insure your package for its full value. Filson is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced packages/items. We cannot refund shipping charges.

Damaged or Defective Items

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Service Representative as soon as possible at customercare@filson.com. Please supply the Representative with your order number and item number from your original confirmation email that was sent to you. We'll make every effort to replace the item promptly.

If you need to return an item, you can expect a refund or credit in the same form of payment originally used to make your purchase. Please note that a credit issued to your credit card may take up to two weeks to be acknowledged by your issuing bank or credit card institution

Wrong Item, Colour, or Size

We apologize if an item you receive is different from what you originally ordered. We would like you to contact us before returning your item, so that we may ship the correct item promptly.

If you purchase an item from Filson and are unhappy with it for any reason within the first 30 days, you may return your item for a refund as stated in our Returns Policy.
How do I return an item to Filson for repair?

What if I receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item?
Please contact Customer Service as soon as possible at customercare@filson.com. Please be sure to enter order number and style number in the email along with full contact information, including a return address, daytime telephone number and/or email address, and we will make every effort to replace your item promptly.
How will I receive my refund?
Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. Please note that a refund issued to your credit or debit card may take up to two weeks to be acknowledged by your financial institution. A Filson order number or proof of purchase is required for refund.
What if I don't have an order number or it was given to me as a gift?
We will exchange an item without an order number or receipt if all of the product tags are included and attached to the item, the item is not a discontinued or discounted style and the product does not show any wear. The last known retail price may be used as a credit toward an exchange. In this instance a return must be arranged through our Customer Service team by contacting customercare@filson.com.
