Filson X Graycloud Outdoorsman Knife

This rare knife is handcrafted by Robb Gray, Seattle’s award-winning knifemaker and leather worker. Ideal for dressing out game and general field craft, just fifteen of these Filson-exclusive knives were made.

The 4-3/8” blade is made from tempered 12c27 steel, renowned for its toughness, ease of sharpening, and corrosion resistance. The drop-point geometry allows it to act as an extension of the hand, and it is hollow-ground for a fine edge with excellent slicing ability. Full-tang construction assures maximum strength, and the heel section is tapered for weight balance. Hand-filed jimping along the spine provides traction for wet hands, and the brass bolster drops down into a hand-shaped finger guard for safety. The desert ironwood handle is carefully shaped for a secure, non-fatiguing grip.

Each of the fifteen individually numbered knives comes in a presentation box with documentation of provenance and a latigo leather sheath.
