These durable, yet supple, wool pants are very long-wearing and highly abrasion-resistant. Made from Whipcord--strong worsted wool with a hard diagonal ribbed surface which is naturally water repellent--they feature four roomy pockets plus a watch pocket, a brass zipper fly and seven belt loops that accommodate belts up to 1 1/2". Made in USA.

The Pride of the Fleet
I have a number of Filson socks...and-the pride of the fleet-a pair of Filson style 180 wool Whipcord Pants. I just returned from a winter hike in these pants-not the first, by any means. They are, without question, the most comfortable pants I have ever owned, and among the best looking as well. I wear them in rough hiking areas, as well as to concerts and semi-dress occasions, and they are never out of place. They seem to have the instincts of an experienced butler in predicting my needs for flexibility. Without being baggy, they are always flexible as I walk or bend, without having to cinch the belt unnecessarily tight, or riding down, as most of my jeans do.
