The Feather Cloth Shirt doubles as a life preserver
Thank you for making a durable and comfortable shirt which doubles as a life preserver. While wade fishing in Aransas Bay near my house in Rockport, Texas, I noticed that my boat began to drift away from the oyster reef to which I was anchored. I chased the boat into deeper water…but quickly became exhausted…the 15-knot wind washed choppy seas over my face. I was choking on sea water, and the current prevented my return. I thought the end was near. I took off my shirt, tied knots in the sleeves and captured enough air in the shirt to keep me afloat until I was picked up 20 or so minutes later by a local crabber. If it weren’t for my Filson shirts, I would have drowned.
