Opening day of rifle season in Tennessee
this year found me in my stand before sunrise with temperatures in the 20s. My Filson Alaskan Guide shirt kept me warm on top while a pair of Double Tin Cloth brush chaps kept my legs dry and protected on my way into the woods. I got an 8 point buck that morning and I stayed comfortable doing it. I went back out in search of a 10 pointer this morning with the same articles on. No buck this time but after 3 hours of sitting in a stand while rain fell (not to mention the temperature) I managed to find the logging road that led out of the woods with dry legs and a warm body.
