Introduced in 1922, the Sleeve Vest concept was to add sleeves to a vest for a tough and practical, closer-fitting short jacket. Our 1922 catalog said of the Filson Sleeve Vest "An excellent garment for summer wear - or ideal for a light weight wind breaking vest to wear under a heavy coat. Has large pocket across the back...$4.00". It has four front pockets (one slotted) and, as in 1922, one large pocket in back. Like many vests of the time, it has an angled front center bottom hem. This historic vest is presented in a wooden box with a Tin Cloth envelope containing documents of historical interest. Made in USA.
