The Stream Hand Net is made by hand, one at a time, by Bob Nelson, a fisherman and craftsman in Tacoma, Washington. Nelson, a woodworker by trade, got into the fish-net business after he made himself a net that became the envy of a few local guides. Each of Nelson’s wood-handled nets are made with a rubber bag that won’t snag hooks and is more sensitive to fish than nylon. The Stream is ideal when you’re fishing in places like the Yakima River in the Pacific Northwest, where an 18-inch trout is considered a prize.
