Filson upgrades fly fishing product offering in spring 2013

Borrowing design cues from Filson’s current wading jacket, the Men’s Guide Wading Jacket is constructed from a waterproof, breathable 4-layer fabric and features designs that will enhance the fly fisherman’s experience. Enhancements include: highly, water resistant YKK zippers, a drawcord hood, and adjustable, double cuffs to seal out water. Large front flap pockets and D-ring hooks allow for plenty of space to attach tools and store gear. MSRP: $375 To accompany the Guide Wading Jacket, Filson also introduces the Men’s Guide Waders. Available in regular and king sizes, the waders use a combination of four-layer and five-layer fabrics in strategic areas for maximum performance. The waterproof, breathable design is salt water resistant. Performance elements include a gusseted crotch and articulated knees for freedom of movement, outer leg seams for greater durability, neoprene booties for a watertight seal and heat retention for standing use in cold water. The suspenders are removable for quick conversion to waist-high waders with a removable belt and drawstring top closure. Classic Filson design elements include bridle leather trim, Filson brass snaps on the mesh front pocket and lined Mackinaw wool hand-warmer pocket. The fleece top has elbow patches for durability and a snap front shawl collar for easy adjustments as you fish.
