Fit Guide

Filson Socks: If you wear a size 9, order size Large to accommodate shrinkage. If you wear size 12, order size Extra Large to accommodate shrinkage.

Filson Socks: Sock length will vary depending on size. S = 8”, M = 10” and L = 11”

Filson coats and jackets are generously sized. Your suit size would normally be the correct size. If you intend to layer heavily underneath your Filson coat, we recommend that you order one size larger than your suit size.

Extra Long Filson Coats, Vests, Sweaters and Shirts have 1-1/2" longer sleeves and 1-1/2" longer body length. Extra Long Vests have 1 1/2" longer body length.

Filson Hats: using a tape, measure around the largest part of the head above the eye brow ridges. Convert to hat size using the hat chart above.

Filson shirts: In general order by your neck and sleeve measurements. If machine wash/line dry, allow for moderate shrinkage. *Measurements can vary by style, please contact customer service if you need specific details.

Filson Pants & Bibs: Order your normal waist size based on the chart above. Our Rain Pants and Bibs are oversized to fit over your pants.

For Filson Belts: Our advice is to order one size up from your normal waist size. The waist size will be the center hole punch of the belt.

Filson Gloves: using a tape, measure all around palm below the base of the fingers. Convert to glove size using the glove chart above.

To measure Sleeve: extend arm in front of you and bend 90 degrees at the elbow. Measure from the center back of your neck to the outside of your shoulder, then continue from shoulder to elbow, and then from elbow to wrist bone.
