Returning an Item

If you wish to return an item purchased from www.filson.com or from our mail order catalog, please refer to the instructions on your packing slip. If you do not have the packing slip, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-866-860-8906 for instructions.

If you wish to exchange your item for another item, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-866-860-8906 so that we may place a new order for you.

If you wish to return an item purchased from a Filson dealer, or if you wish to exchange an item that you received as a gift, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-866-860-8906 for instructions. We cannot refund the purchase price of any item purchased from a Filson dealer.

Customers must pay return shipping charges. We will ship exchanges to you at our expense within the U.S. Customers outside of the U.S. are responsible for all shipping charges, duty, and taxes, including returns and exchanges.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Service Representative as soon as possible at 1-866-860-8906. Please supply the Representative with your order number and item number from your original confirmation e-mail that we sent you. We'll make every effort to replace the item promptly.

Credit

If you need to return an item, you can expect a refund or credit in the same form of payment originally used to make your purchase. Please note that a credit issued to your credit card may take up to two weeks to be acknowledged by your issuing bank or credit card institution.

It was in another Filson catalog, a century ago, that our founder C.C. Filson wrote, “You can depend absolutely upon our goods, both as to material and workmanship.” He would prove that he was a man of his word, as many of his goods lasted through their wearers’ lifetimes, and would eventually be passed down to the following generation. If any Filson item does fail or is otherwise damaged, we will replace or repair it without question.
